Introducing

Ake

A web-based app designed to support safety and behaviour change, built to integrate with Family and Whānau Violence intervention programmes.

How it works

Key Features

Wellness Compass

Users open the app and check in with the Emotions Compass, which then recommends content related to where they pressed.
Coaches can see content viewed by Service Users, allowing for opportunities for follow-ups in session on the topics or teachings
of the content.

Discussions

Coaches can create discussions for groups or individual users to respond to. Use this as a space to talk about programme content, share session resources, set homework, and prepare next-session readiness.

Videos, Activities and Articles

Ake is the home to accessible and easy-to-understand content covering a range of intervention topics such as family safety, emotional literacy, identifying behaviours, the impact of trauma, maintaining healthy relationships, and many more.

Each article comes with a video and audio readout of the written content.
